OUR BUCKS (Jackson'g picture guides you to the Kid's Page)

Foundation Buck: Twice Grand Champion Goose Creek Farm's Jackson

Grand Champion Goose Creek Farm's Jackson
is Bryn Hollow Farm's Foundation Pygora Buck.
Jackson became a Jr. Champion at one year old, won his first Grand Championship at two, and repeated the win at three for his second Grand Championship. An interesting note, Jackson has always been shown by my granddaughter, who at the last show was 11 years old and only 10 when she began showing. It says a lot for the tmperament of Jackson that a child can show him. His off spring, even his buck offspring, are good natured bucks.

The top picture of Jackson was taken this September as his winter fleece begins, he has a very fine Type B Caramel Pygora fleece with phenomenal growth and great conformation.

Jackson and now the young bucks he has sired have produced many beautiful kids and I'm convinced that the Cashpygora phenomenon, directly or indirectly, reflects on the great qualities of this buck and the genetic characteristics his kids inherit.

Jackson is availabe for service and quite willing to comply with the challenge of passing on his incredible qualities. He always seems to improve the next generation with every doe he has been bred to.

PCA Bryce, Sired by Jackson and his Dam is Angora Kitten

Bryce is just 6 months old, but look at his incredibly beautiful fleece. It helps to have a sire who is a Grand Champion and a dam who is a Reserve Champion. Kitten and Jackson will be bred again given the spectacular results and Bryce is now the farm's PCA foundation buck.

Beautiful Red Pygora Buckling, Jackson's Boy

BRYN HOLLOW FARM'S CISCO: JJ's Boy, New Picture taken January 2007. This buck gets more beautiful every year. Cisco is a Registered Pygora buck sired by Jackson. He is a fairly rare red young buck. His Dam is Hawk's Mt. Ranch Sparkle, a black doe with Type C fiber and great conformation who throws beautiful colored kids.

Cisco demonstrates the great conformation inherited from both his sire and dam. Cisco, like his sire, has Type B Pygora fiber. A Pygora judge recently made it a point to comment to me that he has perfect conformation, not a surprise but nice to have confirmed by an expert.

Born March 31, 2005, it is exciting to watch him mature into a great buck. He was bred to both Pygora and Cashmere does last year and Cicso is already a proven sire.
I'm noticing that many of the black kids he sired have beautiful red fleece. The gene for guard hair color and fiber are two distinct genes, making Cisco a great choice for those seeking red and caramel kids and fiber in their herd. Cisco is for sale: $300.00

Shane: An Absolutely Beautiful Young Pygora Buck

Introducing Shane, now 10 months old, picture taken Jan 2007. Sired by Cisco, Shane's dam is Rosie, a Colored Pygora doe who has never given birth to a kid who didn't grow up to have beautiful and ample fiber. He has incredible and almost guard-hair free Type A Pygora fiber and wouldn't even come into his adult fleece for another year. His fiber is a beautiful and natural blending of dark gray with hues of tan. Shane has already given his services to an Angora doe and will soon be visiting another farm to meet his next doe. We'll be DNA testing to ascertain who Rosy's sire is and then Shane will be PCA eligible for Registration. Breeding Service is $50.

Pycazz Fletcher

Fletcher was sired by Cisco and his dam is Midnight. He is the first Pycazz buck born on the farm. This new picture was taken January 2007.

Fletcher's first harvest fiber was high yield and exceptional in length. Fletcher has already sired two kids with Pebbles, the first Pycazz doe. Both, like their dam, are white and were born Christmas Eve day. They were named Prancer and Noel and were a lovely Christmas present from these two very nice goats. They are now 3 months old and their fiber looks exceptional as it is now growing.

Fletcher's cashmere fine fiber is very nice with good coverage, notice the nice red tones. His cashmere dam has absolutely beautiful red toned fleece and while Fleters first kids were white, they look very nice and more kids are to come from this very beautiful buck. All the bucks here seem to have inherited the wonderful conformation of our foundation bucks, Fletcher is no exception.

Pycazz Ian

Ian isn't quite a year old, looks like a miniature cashmere buck but underneath all those guard hairs he has lots of very fine fiber. While his eyes reflect mom's personality, like his dam Betsy he is easy to catch and handle but not big on being petted.
